**Join Our Team as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a difference in patient care? - We have an **urgent need** for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II with **excellent Transfusion Service (Blood Banking)** skills! **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform routine and complicated laboratory procedures, ensuring high-quality outcomes. - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, making minor repairs as needed. - Cross-train in other laboratory sections to enhance your skills and versatility. - Ensure compliance with the laboratory's quality control program. - Calculate, enter, and verify laboratory procedure results. - Utilize the Laboratory Information System efficiently. - Process patient specimens with attention to detail, especially for pediatric sample volumes. - Participate in developing and implementing new testing procedures and protocols. - Deliver patient care tailored to the unique needs of diverse populations. - Uphold the CORE values of our organization in every interaction. - Complete all required compliance and regulatory tasks. - Take on other duties as assigned, contributing to a dynamic team environment. **Job Requirements:** **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. - Alternatively, equivalent laboratory training and experience that meets CLIA regulations. **Experience:** - No experience needed for graduates from an accredited clinical laboratory training program. - One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, including rotations in Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids within the last 5 years. **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Must possess certification for MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS. - New Graduates must be Board Certified or eligible (must complete Board Certification within 1 year, Louisiana excluded). **Work Schedule:** - 5 Days - 8 Hours. **Work Type:** - Full Time. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
