**Exciting Opportunity for Experienced ER RNs!** Join a dedicated team at a dynamic Emergency Department where your skills and compassion can truly shine! **Job Description:** - **Shift Hours:** - 7a-7p, 7p-7a; 11a-11p, 3p-31 - **Patient Population:** - Adult and pediatric ED - Age range: neonate to geriatric - **Unit Details:** - 29 bed ED, 4 bed BDU Behavioral Health, 7 bed FT (Fast Track) - Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:5, may be higher based on volume - **Requirements:** - 1 year minimum of specialty experience - Prior travel experience preferred - Charge experience is a plus - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required - NY license or proof of application required at time of submission - **Additional Qualifications:** - Epic experience from within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Ability to manage higher patient ratios in a busy community setting - **Staffing and Assistance:** - CNA/PCT available during shifts - Unit clerk/Secretary support - Advanced Practice available typically staffed 3 staggered from 8a-11p - **Orientation:** - 20 hours for short contracts, 24 hours for 13-week contracts - **Documentation System:** - Epic - **Equipment Used:** - Phillips MP40’s, Alaris IV pumps - Respiratory and Anesthesia support available 24/7 - **Special Duties:** - Nurse manages drips and starts their own IVs - Nurses perform EKGs and administer respiratory treatments - **Professional Environment:** - Zero tolerance for cell phone or ear buds while working - Responsibilities may include boarding psychiatric and COVID patients Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
