**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - **Assignment Duration:** 16-32 weeks - **Floating Requirements:** - Assigned to float team; minimum of every other weekend required - Schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs - **Requirements:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS needed prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, post-cardiac cath - Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) - NY license required or proof of application with applied date - **Additional Information:** - Orientation held bi-weekly on Mondays; next orientation on 6/01 - Please explain any employment gaps over 90 days - Complete all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) for submission - **Facility Information:** - Total Beds: 341 - PCU Unit Specialty: Progressive Care - Patient Population: Adults with acute coronary syndrome, cardiac diagnoses, and more - **Shift Information:** - Shift hours: 7a/7p - Rotation: Nurses expected to be part of the Resource Float team - No block schedules - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Navy blue or white - Shoes: Closed toe nonskid - Jewelry: Minimal; hair and beard must be groomed and professional - **Special Equipment:** - Respiratory support available 24/7 - Only home vents managed on the unit **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
