Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Nurse - Nights

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care primarily for non-critical pediatric patients.
• Float to the Skilled Nursing Department as needed.
• Must have experience with Cerner electronic health records.
• Work night shifts.
• Hospital may call off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract based on census changes.
• Overtime and billing policies apply for hours worked beyond scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Active California nursing license.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Additional Information

• Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week.
• Housing in King City can be challenging to find.
• Candidates should be prepared for credentialing to be submitted in one batch.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with potential for overtime.
