**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)!** Join our dynamic healthcare team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a progressive care unit. Here’s what you need to know: - **Assignment Duration:** 16-32 weeks - **Start Date:** 5/04 - **Unit:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - **Total Facility Beds:** 341 - **Telemetry Experience Required:** Yes, minimum of 1 year - **Key Responsibilities:** - Float within the Resource Float team - Provide compassionate care to patients, including: - Insulin drips - Cardiac drips - Starting IVs - Post cardiac catheterization care - **Patient Population:** - Acute Coronary Syndrome - Cardiac diagnoses requiring close monitoring - ETOH withdrawal patients - Heart failure and major vascular surgery patients - **Shift Details:** - Flexible scheduling to meet unit needs - Requires every other weekend - Bi-weekly orientations starting 5/18 **Requirements:** - Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications - New York State RN license or proof of application - Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) - Minimum 1 year of tele experience **Additional Information:** - **Dress Code:** Navy blue or white scrubs, closed-toe nonskid shoes, minimal jewelry - **Nurse Patient Ratio:** 3:1 - **Orientation:** 1-2 days - **Transportation:** Reliable personal vehicle required; public transportation not available **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
