**Exciting Opportunity for a Labor and Delivery RN!** **Job Description:** - We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team! - As a vital member of our clinical setting, you'll practice independently while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. - Provide both routine and complex care, focusing on long-range goals to ensure optimal outcomes. - Develop your skills in managing contingencies in clinical nursing with confidence and proficiency. - Make meaningful assignments and delegate tasks to enhance the overall clinical situation and patient experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet and exceed the expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Deliver nursing care with a comprehensive approach, following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in alignment with your level of practice. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness. - Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered. - Assess and identify learning needs; provide valuable education to patients, family members, and caregivers. **Job Requirements:** - Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. - Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred. - Certifications: - Current certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM). - Current NRP certification required. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only). - Licensing: RN License in the state of TX or compact license. **Position Requirements:** - All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - New hires will be precepted by a designated trained staff member. - Successful completion of designated organizational entry competency validation and a Perinatal Services-specific competency validation is required. - Completion of all annual competency verification requirements. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
