**Exciting Opportunity for Women’s and Children’s L&D RN!** Join our dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This position offers a perfect blend of responsibility, flexibility, and growth opportunities in a supportive environment. **Key Details:** - **Unit Specialty:** Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, LDRP - **Total Beds:** 88 Inpatient Beds - **Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries:** 7 inpatient beds, 3 triage rooms, approx. 300 deliveries/year **Position Requirements:** - Minimum 1 year of L&D experience, including LDRP - Prior travel experience is essential - Certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred - Epic experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable - Experience as a baby nurse at delivery and in neonatal resuscitations **Key Responsibilities:** - Float required and call (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe) - Minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjustments as needed - Work within a supportive team environment with 1:1 patient ratios during active labor - Participate in essential tasks such as initiating neonatal resuscitations and assigning APGAR scores **Scheduling Information:** - Shift Hours: 7a-7p / 7p-7a - Rotation Schedule: Every 2 weeks - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend - Call Requirements: Yes, 2 – 12 hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period time frame **Unit Culture and Environment:** - Experience in a community hospital environment without onsite NICU resources - Strong ancillary support (CNA/ PCT available most shifts) - Emphasis on LDRP independence and comprehensive patient care **Additional Information:** - Reliable transportation is necessary; public transport is not accessible - Dress code: Light blue scrubs (supplied by unit), closed-toe shoes - No chipped nail polish; personal jewelry can be worn with certain conditions **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
