**Exciting Opportunity for Women’s and Children’s L&D RN!** Join a dynamic team where your skills make an immediate impact! Experience the rewarding work of labor and delivery in a supportive environment. **Job Description:** - **Position:** Women’s and Children’s L&D RN - **Requirements:** - Minimum 1 year of L&D and LDRP experience - Prior travel experience is essential - Certifications: BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred - Epic experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory - Experience in neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and administering newborn medications at delivery - **Work Schedule:** - Floating and call required (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4-week timeframe) - Minimum of every other weekend, with schedules adjusted based on unit needs - **Unit Details:** - Women and Children’s Unit specializes in Labor and Delivery, Newborn, and Postpartum care - Total of 7 inpatient beds and approximately 300 deliveries per year - Nurse-to-patient ratio during active labor or on Pitocin: 1:1; Couplets: 2-3 patients depending on census/acuity - **Technology and Support:** - Documentation System: Epic - Medication System: Pyxis - Advanced practice team available on-unit - **Additional Information:** - Orientation typically lasts 3 - 12 hour shifts - Scrubs provided in light blue - Reliable transportation is a must; public transportation not accessible in the area - **Patient Population:** - Covers Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, and occasional Med/Surg overflow - Comprehensive care for patients of all ages **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
