Location: Lubbock, Texas

Job Details

  • Weekend Requirement: Yes, 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period

  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • 48-hour shifts: Approved

Uniform/Dress Code

  • Licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN): solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (scrub tops may have colored piping)
  • Print tops not allowed except in specific pediatric and women’s services units
  • Unlicensed personnel wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrubs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Work Requirements

  • Must be willing to float between units as needed
  • Weekend shifts required (6 weekends in 6 weeks)
  • Able to work 48-hour shifts if approved

Additional Notes

  • Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
  • Completion of required regulatory and specialty-specific training modules annually via LMS platform
  • Compliance with state-specific background and license verification requirements
  • Adherence to facility-specific float policies
