**Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** Occupational Therapist - **Department:** Rehabilitation Services - **Shift:** 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - **Start:** ASAP **Position Summary:** Are you ready to make a significant impact on your patients' lives? As an Occupational Therapist, you will: - Assess and treat the effects of illness, injury, developmental, or psychological impairments. - Focus on Activities of Daily Living such as grooming, hygiene, eating, dressing, and more. - Help patients regain, develop, and learn essential skills for optimal independence. - Implement, monitor, and adapt individualized plans of care tailored to each patient. - Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team throughout the rehabilitation process. **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. - **Certification/Licenses:** Current New Mexico American Occupational Therapy Association licensure & BLS certification required. - **Skills:** - Strong accountability and proficiency in assessment/evaluation. - Excellent decision-making and time management abilities. - Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. - Effective organizational skills. - **Experience:** One year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred. **Nature of Supervision:** - Responsible to: Director/Manager, Rehabilitation Services **Environment:** - Clean, well-lighted, and ventilated smoke-free environment. - Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients, and hazardous chemicals. - Subject to stressful professional relationships. **Physical Requirements:** - Good physical condition. - Prolonged standing and walking. - Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients. - Capable of manipulating occupied equipment and lifting supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
