**Exciting Opportunity: Women’s and Children’s L&D RN** Join a dynamic team in a vibrant healthcare setting, where your skills and compassion will impact the lives of mothers and newborns. We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what you can expect: - **Assignment Duration**: 16-32 weeks, starting 4/27 - **Float and Call Requirements**: - Mandatory float within the unit - Two 12-hour call shifts in a rolling 4-week timeframe - **Scheduling**: - A minimum of every other weekend - Adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs - **Holiday Commitment**: Must work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day) **Requirements**: - Prior travel experience - Certifications: BLS, NRP (Required); ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE (Preferred) - Minimum 1-year experience in L&D, including LDRP - Epic experience within the last 2 years (non-negotiable) - Experience with: - Neonatal resuscitation - Assigning APGAR scores - Administering newborn medications post-delivery **Unit Information**: - Focus on Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, & LDRP - 88 total beds in the facility - Nurse-to-patient ratio: - Active Labor or on Pitocin: 1:1 - Couplets: 2 or 3 patients, depending on census/acuity - Support staff: - 3 LNA’s/Perinatal Techs most shifts - No unit clerk on shifts **Orientation and Schedule**: - Orientation Duration: 3-12 hour shifts - Monday to Sunday shifts available; no block scheduling **Miscellaneous**: - Reliable transportation is essential (public transport not accessible) - Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires from November to April **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
