**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Progressive Care Unit!** **Job Description:** - Start Date: 6/01 (not flexible) - Assignment Duration: 16-32 weeks - Float Team Assignment - Schedule: - Minimum of every other weekend required - Flexible scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs - Requirements: - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (NIHSS must be obtained prior to start) - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience - Proficient in managing insulin drips, cardiac drips, and starting IVs - Experience with Epic within the past 2 years is non-negotiable - New York license or proof of application required (considering that NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks) - Additional Information: - IVS to offer - Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays, next available on 6/15 - Comprehensive work history required for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type) - Reliable transportation is essential (public transport not available) - Personal or rental vehicle recommended; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November – April - Facility Details: - Total Beds: 341 - Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 3:1 - Staff Support: Ancillary assistance including CNAs and telemetry tech on unit - Orientation: 1 - 2 days - Dress Code: Navy blue or white scrubs, closed-toe nonskid shoes, minimal jewelry, and well-groomed appearance - Documentation System: EPIC - Patient Population: Includes various cardiac diagnoses, post-operative care, and critical monitoring needs. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
