**Join Our Floating RN Team in PCU!** Are you an experienced RN looking for an exciting opportunity in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)? Join our dynamic float team and make a meaningful impact in patient care with a variety of clinical experiences. Here’s what you need to know: - **Assignment Duration:** 16-32 weeks, starting June 1st - **Position Type:** Floating RN for PCU - **Team Environment:** Be part of a resource float team, providing care wherever needed - **Scheduling:** - Minimum of every other weekend required - Monday to Sunday shifts with 7a and 7p schedules - No block scheduling - **Orientation:** Bi-weekly orientations, next available on 6/15 - **Patient Population:** - Adults with Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiac diagnoses, ETOH withdrawal, and more - **Nurse-Patient Ratio:** 3:1 - **Special Equipment:** - Telemetry monitoring required - Advanced support available for respiratory and anesthesia needs - **Required Qualifications:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (required prior to start) - Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience - Proficient in insulin drips, cardiac drips, and IV starts - Experience with Epic from within the past 2 years - NY license or proof of application required - **Additional Requirements:** - Reliable transportation is a must; public transport is not accessible - All vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April - **Work History Information:** Complete details of bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., required for submission **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
