Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Burbank, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

• 392 Total Staffed Beds
• Charting System: Mediteach

• Start times vary between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM as needed
• Scrub color: Any color allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Required Documents & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• I9 Attestation
• Social Security Card (for certain state-specific checks)
• Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Education Verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
• State-specific background checks as required (e.g., Washington State Patrol Search if applicable)
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • TDAP vaccine within last 10 years or declination form
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer with declination option
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer with declination option
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination form
  • COVID vaccine or declination form
• Respirator Fit Testing (Fit Mask) required for travel starts after 2/5/2024, updated annually (exceptions may apply)

Competencies & Training

• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Specialty-specific competency exams and skills checklists may be required and must be updated annually
• Facility and regional mandatory training modules via WorkRamp LMS, including:

  • Annual regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules for Radiology and Cardiology roles
  • Core and regional modules depending on assignment location
• Epic system training transcripts may be required depending on region and assignment

Additional Notes

• Float Policy: May be required to float to other nearby facilities within a reasonable distance
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format; 7 years required for advanced practice or subcontractor roles
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
