Job Opportunity: Break RN Night

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide safe and effective patient care independently across various hospital nursing departments.
• Support RNs by providing break relief and supplemental staffing in Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments.
• May be assigned to any department where trained and competent to provide nursing support.
• Maintain required proof of competency to ensure expected level of patient care.
• Patient age range: 0-120 years old.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1 year of float experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Additional Information

• Patient care involves multiple departments including Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing.
• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Overtime and holiday work may be required.
• Housing in the area can be somewhat difficult to find.
