NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Unit: 42-bed Level 3 NICU
Shift: Nights
Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 3 patients
Call: Yes, 1 day per 6 weeks
Float: Yes
Weekends: Every other weekend

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma with primary source verification, including State License 1 Verification and NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Minimum 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience
Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CHEMO certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Tech Cert Verification - National
Completion and acknowledgement of Orientation Safety Manual
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Compliance with physical exam, immunizations, mask fit testing, drug screening, background checks, and unit-specific competency requirements as applicable

Work Environment

Level 3 NICU with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Night shift with call and float responsibilities
Every other weekend work required

This position is ideal for NICU RNs with at least one year of experience seeking a travel contract in Tulsa, OK, who are comfortable with night shifts, call, and floating. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
