NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights
  • Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 3 patients
  • Call: Yes, 1 day per 6 weeks
  • Float: Yes
  • Weekends: Every other weekend

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma with primary source verification, including State License 1 Verification and NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience
  • Certifications required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • CHEMO certification
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
    • Tech Cert Verification - National
  • Completion and acknowledgement of Orientation Safety Manual
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Compliance with physical exam, immunizations, mask fit testing, drug screening, background checks, and unit-specific competency requirements as applicable

Work Environment

  • Level 3 NICU with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Night shift with call and float responsibilities
  • Every other weekend work required

This position is ideal for NICU RNs with at least one year of experience seeking a travel contract in Tulsa, OK, who are comfortable with night shifts, call, and floating. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
