Nursing House Supervisor

Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

The House Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role provides leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and acts as the primary backup for front managers in their absence. Responsibilities include:

Planning, leading, coordinating, and facilitating quality care and service from a hospital-wide, shift-specific perspective
Addressing staffing issues, patient/family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, patient placement, public affairs, and communications
Evaluating and mentoring staff
Ensuring appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment
Providing adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor experience within the last year
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification
Current NRP certification
ENPC certification
TNCC certification
STABLE certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
