**Exciting Opportunity: Labor and Delivery RN** **Job Description:** - Shift: Nights (7P - 7A) - Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of maternal healthcare? - Join a dynamic team where your skills and compassion are at the forefront of every patient's journey. - Thrive in a setting that supports your growth and empowers you to deliver exceptional care. **Responsibilities:** - Lead yourself and others, meeting the expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies. - Provide nursing care using the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families. - Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided meticulously. - Assess learning needs and deliver education to patients, families, and caregivers. - Identify patient issues and utilize resources effectively. **Job Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred) - **Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year in the related nursing specialty (preferred) - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required. - Current NRP certification required. - Current BLS certification required (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact. - **Position Requirements:** - Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days. - Complete onboarding and competency validations with a designated staff member. - Finish all annual competency verification requirements. **Work Schedule:** - 7PM - 7AM **Work Type:** - Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
