Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Scottsdale, AZ

Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: Full-time, Days (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goals
Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, including experience within the last year
Current BLS certification
