Description

Job Opportunity: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Bremerton, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Oversee delivery of dialysis and patient care in a chronic, in-center dialysis setting
Provide patient education and supervise Dialysis Technicians
Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and care plans
Monitor patient outcomes and administer medications
Participate in quality improvement projects
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists
Work any day Monday through Saturday, with shifts varying between AM and PM based on staffing needs
Must be able to work at any clinic location on the peninsula

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience, including experience within the last year
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Certification in Advanced Trauma Training (ATT)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
STABLE certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP are noted but not explicitly required
Flexible scheduling and multiple clinic locations on the peninsula
