**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team!** - Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in patient care? - We are seeking experienced RNs to join our skilled float team in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU). - This role requires a commitment to flexibility with scheduling; you will work a minimum of every other weekend and may have your schedule adjusted to meet unit needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical conditions. - Manage insulin drips, cardiac drips, and starting IVs while closely monitoring patients post-cardiac catheterization. - Float to appropriate units as needed and be an integral part of the Resource Float team. **Requirements:** - Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications. - NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start. - Minimum of 1 year of telemetry experience is required. - Proficient in Epic documentation from within the past 2 years — this is non-negotiable. - Skills in managing various drips, IV starts, and post-operative care are essential. **Work Environment:** - Fast-paced PCU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1. - Access to ancillary support from CNAs/PCTs and telemetry technicians. - A commitment to professional attire: scrubs in navy blue or white, closed-toe nonskid shoes, and minimal jewelry. **Schedule:** - Shift hours: 7 AM to 7 PM. - Expect some holiday shifts as needed. **Patient Population:** - Primary focus on acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, post-surgical care, and complex monitoring needs. **Additional Information:** - Please ensure all prior work experiences are fully documented, including facility type, bed count, and EMR systems used. - Reliable transportation is essential, as public transport is not available in this area. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
