Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist assists patients with pain management, reducing fall risk, improving mobility and independence, and supports discharge planning to enhance functional mobility.

Essential Job Duties

• Treat patients with movement dysfunction or pain to improve daily task performance, reduce risk of adverse events (falls, DVT, etc.), support recovery from surgery, and improve patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities including evaluations, progress notes, discharges, daily notes, insurance communications, and phone conversations.
• Communicate with providers, insurance companies, patients, rehab staff, and supervisors.
• Assist with cleaning treatment rooms, laundry, and bathroom maintenance.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Professional degree in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
