Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse assists with day-to-day nursing activities focused on hemodialysis patient care. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess hemodialysis patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
• Manage rapidly changing patient stations and delegate care to other team members.
• Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after hemodialysis treatments.
• Coordinate extra care at other facilities as needed.
• Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies, and conduct quality controls regularly.
• Educate patients and family members about disease processes, care needs, and safety.
• Participate in daily huddles, monthly meetings, and clinical decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 months (0.25 years) dialysis experience, with dialysis experience within the last year.
• Experience in an acute care setting.
