Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day

Job Summary

• Provide independent and proficient nursing care to patients and their families by applying the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, and management to address nursing issues and interpret hospital policies to meet patient needs.
• Maintain clinical competency and continue learning new skills to ensure safe, direct patient care.

• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to speak additional languages is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Verbal Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.

Additional Information

• Must be able to work assigned shifts reliably.
• Orientation, annual competencies, and legal compliance training required.
