Operating Room Circulator RN - Washington, Clarkston

Job Type

• Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (5 shifts of 8 hours), with rotating call coverage
• Hours per week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse.
• Promote and restore patient health through the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
• Supervise assigned team members.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutically effective nursing environment.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage.
• Use nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Maintain the work area and ensure compliance with nursing and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Prior travel experience is required.
