EEG Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: West Hollywood, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekend work required
• No floating or on-call required
• Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
• Active license required at time of submission (no pending licenses)

Required Qualifications

• EEG Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience as an EEG Technologist within the last year
• Experience in an inpatient setting

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Background check within 6 months, including:

  • 7-year county residency
  • Nationwide criminal search
  • Sex offender search
  • Federal district court search
  • International criminal search if lived outside U.S. in last 7 years
• Education verification of highest level completed (High School verification required)
• Clear copy of diploma or unofficial transcript required
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (N95 or equivalent)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive)
• Required immunizations/vaccinations:

  • 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer (measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
  • 2 Varicella vaccines or positive titer (or proof of disease history)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31) for applicable start dates; declinations not accepted
• Drug screening panel within 1 year (excluding marijuana/THC)
• Two professional references required, at least one supervisory

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, centered face, bright lighting, plain background, no filters or accessories) and be approved one week before start date
• Completion and signing of facility-specific documents including:

  • Job description addendum and acknowledgement
  • Code of conduct and attendance policy attestation
  • Job hazard analysis and safe work practices acknowledgement
  • Social media policy
• Completion of competency exams as required by profession/specialty (including medication and EKG/dysrhythmia competency exams)
• Fire safety card to be obtained onsite during orientation within first 6 months
• Pass/fail EKG assessment during orientation (if applicable)

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete lab work within 48 hours of contract signing
• All certifications must be current and verifiable
• No scheduling accommodations will be made for shift preferences or days off
