Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP) - Contract

Location: Sidney, Montana
Employment Type: Contract

Shift: Night shift (18:45 - 07:00)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Provide high-quality care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a fast-paced obstetrics unit. Responsibilities include triage, non-stress tests (NSTs), serving as second nurse at deliveries, managing overflow patients, and collaborating with physicians and pediatricians to ensure patient-centered care. Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.

Unit Environment

• Care for women and newborn infants after childbirth
• Team-oriented with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
• Critical role in guiding patients through childbirth and postpartum journey

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Montana
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • STABLE certification
  • Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate level or above)

• Prior travel experience is required for this position.
