Description

Job Opportunity: Med/Surg / Skilled Nursing Nurse (Night Shift)

Location: King City, California
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care primarily for non-critical pediatric patients.
Float to the Skilled Nursing Department as needed.
Must have experience with Cerner electronic health records system.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience within the last year.
Skilled Nursing experience.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Experience with Cerner electronic health records system.

Additional Information

The hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract period due to census changes.
Overtime applies for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.
Meal and break time must be pre-approved by a supervisor if missed.
Housing can be challenging to find in the area; short-term options are available nearby.

Notes for Candidates

Prior travel experience is required.
Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts.
Flexibility to float between Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing units is necessary.
