Echosonographer (Diagnostic Imaging) – Contract Position

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Rotating evening, night, and weekend call

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including TTE, TEE, Contrast (Optison/Definity), Bubbles studies, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echo
• Work settings include inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, emergency room, and cath lab
• Use equipment such as Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, Siemens Origin
• Utilize EMR systems: Athena, Meditech, PICOM
• Left-handed scanner preferred
• Some experience with rare Pediatric TTE is a plus
• Must be a positive team player, open to feedback, and an effective communicator

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Certification in one of the following: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), RCCS (Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer), or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
