Shift Details

• Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• Acute Care experience required
• Experience in Discharge Planning and Care Coordination required
• Strong preference for candidates with diverse Case Management experience including Medical-Surgical, Long Length of Stay (LLOS), and Emergency Department (ED)

Licensure and Certifications

• Must hold a valid Washington State license for Social Services
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pending Washington license accepted

Work Environment

• Will float between multiple hospital units and campuses within a 2-mile radius
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 staffed beds across campuses
• Charting system: EPIC
• Parking is facility-paid
• Scrub color: Any except reddish orange

Hours Guaranteed

• 70 hours per 2-week period

Candidate Requirements

• Locals not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must submit all Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of application

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
• Education verification required
• State-specific searches and registry checks as applicable
• Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents required including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted)
• Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates
• Fit mask testing required for travel candidates (not required for sterile processing techs)

References and Employment History

• Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years required

Training and Competency

• Must complete required Workramp modules including:

  • Annual regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific modules for Social Services
  • Facility-specific modules as applicable
• Medication and competency exams as applicable
• Floating policy acknowledgment required

Additional Notes

• Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities
• Passport-style badge photo required
• Background checks and other compliance documents must be current and uploaded as required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in Discharge Planning and Care Coordination
