Description

Registered Nurse (ER) - Contract Position

Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

Work as an RN covering Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas in a small critical access hospital with no separate units.
When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
When assigned to medication administration, responsible for passing meds and performing procedures for both LTC and acute patients.
Facility is not latex-free.
Hours are not guaranteed.
Schedule: Six 12-hour shifts (72 hours) over a two-week period, with every third weekend off.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is required for this position.
