Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Mammoth Lakes, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform quality laboratory testing and interpret results. Responsible for monitoring quality control procedures and maintaining a fully operational laboratory environment to ensure rapid, reliable results that support patient safety and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform testing in chemical, microscopic, microbiological, blood bank, hematological, and serological areas to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Accurately examine and analyze laboratory test results.
Maintain proficiency in venous phlebotomy collection procedures.
Participate in routine operation and maintenance of lab equipment and instrumentation.

Required Qualifications

Valid Medical Technologist license in California
Medical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Work Schedule

Varied shifts
36 hours guaranteed per week
