Endoscopy/GI Tech

Work Schedule

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
Rotating on-call duties

Job Description

Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
Set up procedure rooms and equipment
Disinfect, process, and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment
Transport patients as needed
Stock rooms with supplies and equipment
Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed
Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Endoscopy Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

This position requires a highly experienced Endoscopy Tech capable of supporting complex cases
Must comply with radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
