Description

Registered Nurse – Medical Step-Down

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care for patients requiring Medical Step-Down level of care.
Work 12-hour shifts with two shift options:
- Days: 7am–7pm
- Nights: 7pm–7am
Holiday and weekend rotation required.
No guaranteed hours.
Overtime paid at the regular all-inclusive rate.
No on-call duties.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
