Work Schedule

• Night shift, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (17:00 - 3:00)
• Weekend work required
• No on-call duties
• Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• Guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks; may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license in Alaska
• Minimum 1 year of LMSW experience within the last year
• Experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is also acceptable and relevant

Certifications

• Verify certifications as required by the unit; common certifications may include:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Other certifications per unit demand (check unit details)

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security Card
• Background Check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
• Education Verification (degree/diploma/transcripts as applicable)
• Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment
• Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (Alaska placements require positive titer and vaccine series)
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
  • COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
• Drug Screening: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months; instant tests acceptable with attestation
• Respirator Safety Clearance (RespSafety) required for travel candidates, medically cleared annually
• Fit Mask test required for travel candidates, updated annually
• WA State specific searches and attestations if applicable (not required for this Alaska position)

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility and specialty-specific training modules annually via WorkRamp LMS platform
• Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
• Must acknowledge and comply with float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
• Charting system used: Epic
• Parking is free

• Locals (within 50 miles) are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates with pending Alaska license are accepted
