Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Johnson, Arkansas

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Every other weekend required
Call shifts twice during the scheduled period
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
