Interventional Radiology Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Eureka, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Work in Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias.
- Procedures include coronary and peripheral diagnostics/interventions and permanent pacemaker placements.
- Daily caseload: 8-12 cases.
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Call required; no weekend or floating requirements.
- Orientation: 30 hours.
- Block scheduling may be considered.
- Locals accepted.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- Fluoroscopy permit required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment.
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
- Background checks include national and state-specific searches as applicable.
- Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background).

- Scrub colors provided for Cath Lab staff.
- Supportive environment with resources for travel staff housing and orientation.

Notes
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Return to office (RTO) must be approved at time of submission.
- No prior travel experience required.
