**Exciting Opportunity for an Operating Room Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Join a dynamic surgical team and play a crucial role in patient care within the Operating Room. - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Utilize your critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for patient care. - Ensure the timely preparation of surgical supplies and equipment for procedures. - Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding procedure details and updates. - Maintain and update physician preference cards to adapt to specific surgical needs. - Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. - Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the OR. - Contribute to maintaining regulatory standards and hospital policies as specified in the State Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines. - Participate in call requirements of 6-8 days per month, enhancing your expertise and experience. **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - PALS **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. - Previous travel experience preferred. - Local applicants will not be considered. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
