Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job in California
Location: Eureka, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours per week
Job Details

- Floating between similar units required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager’s discretion

- Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Additional Requirements
- Must complete Providence annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via Aya LMS (Workramp)
- Must comply with Providence floating policy acknowledgment (may float to other nearby Providence facilities)
- Photo for badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
- Epic training modules required for access to electronic health records (Epic)
- WA and OR state-specific background and licensing requirements apply if working in those states (not applicable here)
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
- Guaranteed hours may be reduced once per two-week pay period by the facility
- Pending licenses are not accepted; active, valid license required at time of submission
- Background checks must include multiple components such as SSN trace, education verification, and national sex offender registry
- Candidates must be prepared to float between similar units as needed
