Dialysis Technician - Washington, Oak Harbor

Position Details

Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Location: Multiple clinics in the greater Seattle area, including Whidbey Island, Anacortes, and Smokey Point
Shift: 10-hour shifts, AM and PM (no later than 11:30 PM), Monday through Saturday
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide care for renal dialysis patients following specific protocols
Work under the supervision of a Registered Staff Nurse
Support patient training for home dialysis and deliver care in dialysis centers and contracted local hospitals
Participate in community outreach to promote kidney health
This is a chronic, in-center dialysis position covering multiple locations

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of dialysis technician experience, including experience within the last year
Current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
Current Washington State Medical Assistant - Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT) certification or ability to obtain it
Current CPR with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Certifications (Additional)

ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred or relevant to the role
