Location: Everett, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period
Weekends: None required
Floating: No floating between units required

Job Description

• Clerical role supporting the Case Management Department
• Responsibilities include authorizations, post-acute referrals, and delivering Medicaid notices to patients
• Clinical background in acute care is helpful but not required
• Must have experience with Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Master of Social Work license in Washington
• Master of Social Work with a minimum of 1 year of experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Certifications & Training

• Not specifically required for this non-clinical role, but must complete annual regulatory and facility-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
• Must complete Providence annual regulatory requirements and any specialty-specific modules as assigned
• Must complete Epic training modules as required by the facility

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
• Immunizations and screenings required if onsite and patient-facing, including:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination documentation preferred (declinations accepted)
• Fit mask testing required for travel candidates, updated annually (not required for remote or non-patient facing roles)
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (updated as needed)
• Respiratory safety clearance required for travel candidates, updated annually

Background & Compliance

• Background check must include: SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, FACIS Level 3, education verification, motor vehicle record (if applicable), and international background search if applicable
• Washington State Patrol and WATCH searches required for Washington placements, updated every 2 years for certain facility types
• OBRA registry search required for CNAs in Washington at Skilled Nursing Facilities (not applicable here but noted for reference)
• Must comply with floating policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)
