**Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced RN in a Dynamic Surgery Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Central Vermont Medical Center, Berlin, VT - **Unit:** Operating Room - **Specialty:** Surgery - **Total # of Facility Beds:** Licensed for 122 - **Unit Beds/Suites:** 5 OR Suites **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional care in our fast-paced Operating Room environment. - Collaborate with a skilled team to manage a variety of cases, including: - Orthopedics (Total Joints & Sports Medicine) - Minor orthopedic traumas (e.g., ORIFs of ankles, wrists, clavicles) - Cataracts, General cases, Podiatry, Urology - Gynecological, and Cardiology (Pacemaker insertions) **Qualifications:** - AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required - Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience, with a strong background in: - Orthopedic services - General surgery - GYN services - Experience in Epic within the last 2 years is mandatory - Scrub experience is highly preferred; strong circulator experience will be accepted **Schedule:** - **Shift Availability:** Monday to Friday, 06:50 – 15:30 or 06:50 – 17:30 (day shift) and 11:00 – 19:30 (evening shift) - **Call Requirements:** - On-call every weekend (rotation of 1 weekend every 5 weeks) - Weekday evening call once a week from 15:30 to 07:00 **Work Environment:** - Friendly and collaborative team atmosphere - 3 days of orientation provided - Resources available for anesthesia support and respiratory assistance **Additional Information:** - Reliable personal transportation is essential as public transport is inaccessible in the area. - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
