Exciting Opportunity for a Surgical RN Job Description: - Join a dynamic Operating Room unit with a focus on Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Gynecological services. - We are seeking a skilled and flexible RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment. - Schedule: - Minimum requirement of every other weekend. - Adjustments made to meet unit and patient care needs. - Two call shifts required per week. - On call every 3-5 weekends as needed. - Qualifications: - AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certification required. - Minimum of 2 years’ experience, with strong expertise in orthopedics and general care. - Scrub experience preferred; strong circulators will be considered. - Epic experience within the last 2 years is a must. - Work Environment: - 5 OR suites equipped with state-of-the-art technology. - Dynamic patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. - Collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. - Orientation: - 3-day orientation program to acclimate you to our facility. - Dress Code: - Hospital-provided scrubs with dedicated OR shoes. - Hair and beard regulations apply for professionalism and safety. - Equipment: - Work with advanced equipment including Baxter IV pumps and MindRay monitors. - Support from anesthesia and respiratory care available 24/7. - Responsibilities: - Circulate and scrub, as necessary. - Basic general OR equipment management. - Willingness to learn to circulate C-sections.
