OT Outpatient (Therapy/Rehabilitation) - Travel/Contract
Location: Napa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Acute Care Outpatient experience required.
- Ideal candidate can work across outpatient and inpatient rehab settings, including weekend coverage:
- Week 1: Sunday (Inpatient 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday-Thursday (Outpatient 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Week 2: Monday-Friday (Outpatient 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, except Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Acceptable candidate: Skilled outpatient Occupational Therapist with experience in neuro, some ortho/hands, and some pediatrics, working Monday-Friday (Outpatient 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, except Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) in a hospital-based outpatient setting.
Shift Details
- Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education verification required for all candidates.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment.
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Drug screen (9-panel) within 12 months of start.
- State-specific searches and verifications as applicable (e.g., Washington State Patrol Search if applicable).
- NURSYS verification required for RNs (if applicable).
Facility and Regional Requirements
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
- Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background).
- Float policy acknowledgment: may be required to float to other nearby facilities.
