Registered Nurse - Urgent Care (Alaska)

Work Schedule

Urgent care hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Shifts vary across days and hours
36 hours per week

Job Summary

Provide clinical services within an ambulatory urgent care setting.
Assist patients, providers, and clinic staff to ensure quality care and efficient clinic operations.
Lead and direct clinic staff, including front desk and patient care functions.
Maintain medication inventory and supplies (excluding those on Warehouse PAR system).
Perform quality control checks on Point of Care tests.
Document all care and services accurately and timely.
Oversee opening and closing of provider clinics.
Communicate effectively with other departments to support patient care and clinic operations.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and report equipment or safety issues.
Participate in mandatory training, in-services, and staff meetings.
Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum of 1 year of ambulatory care experience within the last year.
Urgent care experience.
