Location

• Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours
• Rotating on-call duties

Job Description

• Assist nursing staff and physicians during endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
• Set up procedure rooms and equipment
• Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment; troubleshoot equipment issues
• Transport patients as needed
• Stock rooms with supplies and equipment
• Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed
• Apply EKG monitors, blood pressure cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures

Required Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required

Preferred Certifications

• Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates or Advanced Associates Program
• IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification

Additional Requirements

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility location
• Compliance with Colorado CAPS registration requirements (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
• Accurate Social Security number and date of birth must be provided to avoid onboarding delays
