**Join Our Dynamic PACU Team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN)!** **Job Description:** - Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our team! - Enjoy 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, providing a balanced work-life environment. - **On Call Participation:** Be a key player in patient care and readiness! **Qualifications:** - Valid RN Licensure - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS - Minimum 2 years of experience in: - Orthopedic - Ophthalmology (eyes) - Gynecology **Travel Requirements:** - All travel submissions must include: - At least 2 years of nursing experience - Prior travel experience - **Note:** No local applicants will be accepted. **Role Responsibilities:** - Hold shift accountability for providing exceptional care to PACU patients. - Collaborate effectively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals. - Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies. - Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment. - Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care. - Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education. - Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
