Job Opportunity: GI/Endoscopy Technician

Location

Mission Hills, California
Outpatient Endoscopy Center

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
Guaranteed hours with possible cancellation of up to 1 shift every 2 weeks

Job Description

Perform procedures including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsy, PEG placement, banding, balloon dilation, Bravo, X-track
Handle high-level disinfection of procedural equipment
Work with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes
Assist with back table setup and room preparation (preferred)
Support 3 gastroenterologists performing 34-36 procedures daily
Patient population includes ASA classifications 1, 2, and 3
Collaborative work environment with physicians and nursing staff

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician
Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
Certification: SGNA education completion or Certified Surgical Tech (CST) program completion preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience working in outpatient and clinic settings
