Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - Winchester, VA

Job Type

Contract position
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)

Job Description

Provide rehabilitation therapy services primarily for adults and adolescents
Manage approximately 50-55 patient visits per week
Focus on orthopedic conditions including:
- Achilles Tendonitis
- ACL Tear
- Post-operative Back Pain
- Calf Strain
- Disc Herniation
- Fractures and Stress Fractures
- Generalized Low Back Pain
- Headache
- Meniscus Tear
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Postural Dysfunction
- Rotator Cuff Non-surgical Intervention and Post-operative Care
- SI Joint Dysfunction
- Stenosis
- Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
- Total Joint Replacement
Utilize case management and gross motor assessment skills
Documentation system: NextGen
Dress code: Business casual

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
