Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Alturas, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Nights, Weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide individualized care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
- Collaborate with nursing staff, residents, families, and other departments.
- Perform resident assessments, including new admissions and those who are ill, injured, or have fallen.
- Receive and give reports on residents' conditions to ensure continuity of care.
- Document assessments according to facility policy.
- Notify nurses of any changes in residents' conditions or needs.
- Assist with direct patient care and promptly respond to call lights.
- Float to other units as necessary.
- Work some weekends and holidays.
- Maintain good working relationships with co-workers, residents, families, and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CNA license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care experience within the last year
